1. Manchester
Stay
About the destination: Manchester with its interesting museums, redeveloping city centre and notable musical heritage, is an exciting place to visit. It has a rich history and culture, and of course is home of the planet's most popular football team, Manchester United. But Manchester is above all a fun city that loves to entertain its guests. The local Gothic Cathedral is a distinctive architectural landmark of the region. Manchester's Gothic cathedral has a beguiling interior, laced with intricate wood carvings and mediaeval furnishings. Nearby there is the Chetham's Library and School of Music, believed to be the oldest public library in the world as well as Manchester's oldest building. Rich in grandiose Victorian and Edwardian architecture, the enormous neo-Gothic Town Hall on Albert Square is a spectacle inside and out, with murals of Manchester's history decorating the building's grand ceremonial hall. For art lovers, Manchester Art Gallery has a superb collection of British and European art. Undeniably, the uncrowned capital of the north is a great place to shop, drink and eat. Reconstructed after an IRA bomb attack in 1996, the Millennium Quarter is home to Manchester's mainstream shopping temples, while the Corn Exchange is a haven of fashion and style boutiques. The nightlife scene is legendary with many traditional pubs rubbing shoulders with sophisticated lounge bars and loud clubs. So while it is a city with a past, Manchester has its eyes on the future.

About the destination: Birmingham, Britain's second-largest city, was during the 19th century the focus of the industrial revolution, which makes it very attractive for fans of industrial heritage. Its new cultural openness, materialized in urban redevelopment plans, will enthral all visitor. The history of the city is fascinating and in the new 'Birmingham, its people, its history' galleries visitors can explore the city's global heritage. These galleries are located at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, where visitors can, also, admire one of the best pre-Raphaelite collections in the world. Also worth a visit is the science museum Thinktank Science Museum, which houses 10 thematic galleries full of interactive fun, a digital planetarium and a science garden outdoors. The Selfridges building its one of the city’s most iconic sight due to its futuristic shape. Next to it we find St Martins Church, the church is hundreds of years old and the stunning gothic appearance of the church stands out beautifully next to the ultra-modern Bullring commercial area and Selfridges building, is worth admiring the contrast of the modern buildings with the temple. If you fancy something different, explore the city on one of the canal boats; Birmingham has more miles of canals than Venice and offers fantastic landscapes. For more outdoor fun, we must visit Lickey Hills, a range of beautiful hills just outside of Birmingham. Here visitors will enjoy a relaxing stroll surrounded by leafy trees, squirrels and a stunning nature that inspired Tolkien to write the Lord of the Rings. Alongside outstanding museums and galleries you'll find an increasing number of gastronomic choices, cool and lively cocktail bars, and waterside bars and restaurants. Friendly and diverse, Birmingham has become Britain’s new tourism hotspot.

3. Bath
Stay
About the destination: "Bath is a city in Somerset, South West England. In 2011, its population was 88,859. It became part of Avon in 1974; since Avon's abolition in 1996, it has been the principal centre of Bath and North East Somerset. The city, in the valley of the River Avon, became a World Heritage Site in 1987. To visitors Bath is a pretty complete Georgian city with an awful lot of the architecture intact, much of the city remained intact and most of what was bombed was rebuilt. Therefore, Bath is one of the most architecturally pleasing cities North of the Alps. Some the most importants places to see at the city are: • Roman Baths. Built by the Romans around 2000 years ago, and later rediscovered by the Victorians, the Roman Baths are the must-see tourist attraction in Bath. The baths are fuelled by England's only mineral hot springs. You can wander the rooms that made up the baths, including the large open air 'Great Bath', see Roman medieval and Georgian architecture, and learn about the history of Bath Spa. • Bath Abbey. The last Gothic church in England, started in 1499 and built on the ruins of the former Norman cathedral, this impressively large church (of small cathedral proportions) is located next to the Roman Baths. A wonderful view of Bath can be had with a trip up the Abbey tower. • The Royal Crescent, a magnificent semi-eliptical crescent of houses designed by John Wood and completed in 1774. This was the first of Bath's eight crescents, and its shape remains unique. You can visit one of the houses which has been redecorated to resemble what it would have been like at the end of the 18th century. • Sion Hill - Wealthy neighbourhood in the upper part of the city that makes for a pleasant stroll. Attractive Bath stone buildings. • Bath's parks are ideal for a summer picnic. Topless bathing used to be frowned upon but is becoming the norm as the regenerating city becomes more cosmopolitan. The Council maintains all parks to a high standard. Parks at the city are Parade Gardens, Victoria Park and Sydney Gardens."

Stop
About the destination: Bristol is one of the most dynamic and cosmopolitan centres outside London, as well as one of the largest commercial ports in the country. Bristol is a modern, vibrant and attractive city with richly varied architecture and a fast lifestyle. Nonetheless, the Old City district remains almost unchanged, with cobbled streets and historic architecture. One of the most valuable architectural sights of the city is the church St Mary Redcliffe. This ancient church was described by Queen Elizabeth I as 'the finest parish church in England' and its architecture is the most perfect expression of the Gothic style. Located in the beautiful College Green Park, opposite the town hall, the Bristol Cathedral stands. Founded in the twelfth century, it is an imposing landmark and a beautiful building with marvellous gothic features, vaulted ceilings and beautiful stained glassed windows. Tired with the old? No worries, Bristol is known for being a hotspot of trends and popular culture and its urban and street art scene is unrivalled in the UK. This is Bristol. A modern, artistic, and multicultural city, full of exciting attractions and bursting with events and festivals throughout the year.
