Billund Denmark

Billund, a little town located in the centre of the Jutland Peninsula of Denmark. Billund is the site of Denmark's second-biggest tourist attraction outside Copenhagen: Legoland. The town is perfect for a family holiday as it houses a good number of fun activities for children as well as adults, restaurants and cafes and shopping venues. Billund has a number of attractions such as the Billund Museum, landscaped gardens full of wonderful flower varieties, over 12 churches and a good number of places to spend time shopping. However, Legoland is the city’s main attraction. Legoland Billund is the original Legoland Park that was opened in 1968. Here, everything is crafted out of Lego blocks, so you can expect to see the world’s most emblematic sights built from the colourful bricks. Moreover, there are thrilling rides that are perfect for every age right from young children to seniors. The town also has a large number of manufacturing companies, lots of facilities for children and young people, and a sculpture park. With what has now become the country's second-largest airport, Billund is in an ideal position to become a centre of tourism for the whole of Jutland. So although Billund is indeed a very young town, it has an exceptionally bright future.
